From dental, vision and behavioral health services to chiropractic care, pharmacy benefit management and other ancillary services, specialty health is an increasingly important component of healthcare delivery in the United States. Despite the major growth and substance of the specialty health industry, no single trade association had stepped forward to represent the unique needs and positions of Specialty Health Organizations, until now.

The National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO), with a membership covering over 175 million American lives, has become a visible entity as it seeks to communicate the value of specialty health and become the recognized collective voice of specialty health organizations.
