Julian Roberts has more than 20 years of national sales, marketing and operations experience in the health care industry. He is a founder and senior partner of Roberts Resource, Inc., a premier marketing firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Roberts is responsible for business development and expansion of the company’s market share in the local marketplace and the health care arena.

For the past seven years, Roberts has assisted the American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO) in membership/sponsorship recruitment. AAPPO revenues increased 31 percent in 2002 as a result of Roberts’ efforts.
Before founding Roberts Resource, Roberts served as Regional Vice President of Marketing and Sales with ppoNEXT (previously Beyond Benefits), a national preferred provider organization (PPO). The organization contracted with more than 2,700 hospital and 450,000 physicians to serve more than 6 million members.
Roberts was also Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Preferred Plan Administrative Services Corporation, a regional PPO contracted with over 600 hospitals and 40,000 physicians who covered more than 600,000 members. In addition, he served as Assistant Vice President of Strategic Planning for Crawford & Company, an international property and casualty-adjusting firm, and Regional Director of Operations for PAL-PGC, a group health third-party administrator.

Roberts received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Georgia College and State University in 1983. Roberts has served and participated in many local Atlanta business and charitable organizations. He currently is active in the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the PKD Foundation.
