Peggy Anthony was appointed to the position of vice president of Product Development and Provider Relations at DenteMax, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, in February, 2007. She will direct all aspects of dental product development, professional and provider relations and provider network development.

Peggy has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for nearly 30 years, and has been director of Dental, Vision and Hearing for the company since 2001. In this position, Peggy has provided oversight to product and policy development, program administration, claims processing, inquiry handling, provider relations, marketing and sales support, and vendor management.

Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Detroit. Peggy currently serves as a mentor in the Oak Park Business Education Association Faces of the Future Mentoring program for 8th and 9th grade students. Peggy is married to Jim Anthony, and has three step children ranging in ages from 30 to 36 years of age.  She enjoys boating on the Great Lakes and golf.
