The National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO), an American Association of Preferred Providers (AAPPO) partner association, launched in January 2003 to advance and evolve specialty healthcare delivery in the United States. Our strategic initiative –– to fully integrate specialty health organizations into the healthcare reimbursement model –– encompasses every facet of the specialty health industry: from carriers and networks focused on dental, vision, chiropractic, radiology, behavioral health, physical therapy and hearing to other ancillary service organizations.
NASHO embraces our diversity and the imperative to wholly represent our contingency by ensuring our members have a voice for all aspects of their business. We take pride in responding to our members’ concerns and provide programs and activities that specifically support their business needs while serving the organization as a whole, including:
-
Legislative Advocacy – Informing/educating the public policy/regulatory arena about specialty health business practices
-
Educational Marketing – Promoting specialty health through strategic communication outlets
-
Industry Innovation and Expertise – Developing specialty health best practices and guidelines
-
Business Development and Networking – Supporting professional growth of specialty healthcare professionals by hosting comprehensive educational programs and network opportunities
